When you have more than one computer they need to talk to each other and share the internet connection, printer, scanner and any other equipment you may have. To do this, you need a network. Networks can be wired or wireless.

You may need a network installed or a wired network modified to a wireless network.

If you already have the network you need, we can help with problems you may have, or with extending it if you want to be able to access the network further away from the base.

Wired or Wireless?

In the past this was often a difficult choice. Wireless networks tended to be slow and less secure. Wireless networks are still slower than their wired counterparts but the speed of wireless is normally very acceptable to all but the heaviest of network use. In most cases a wireless network is easier and cheaper to install and maintain and will satisfy almost all normal home or small business requirements.

We always recommend wireless networks unless there are overriding factors and we can advise you on that when we speak.
